Fife Council have carried out a number of projects in the town centre and Lomond Homes, one of the region's main house builders, have also a substantial ongoing development on the edge of town with other residential development now planned. Further expansion and growth of the town is anticipated and this will bring a major boost to the local economy and should improve trading potential.
