How to calculate your monthly student rent? Here's an example. If your weekly rent is £80 per student tenant multiply this by 52 (the number of weeks in the year), and divide it by 12 (the number of months in the year). Hence 80 x 52 = 4160 ÷ 12 = £346.66 per calendar month.

Follow these 7 simple steps to reserving your new Home ! Step 1 - Just reply with -'I want this Haus', -The address of the property, -Whether you want the Property with or without bills -The name & email address of your flat mates
Step 2 - Watch out for an email from [sitename]
Step 3 - Pay your £60 admin fee and start the application process. * The admin fee will take the property off the market for 4 days ** and all viewings will stop during that time.
Step 4 - Submit your personal references forms online All application documents need to be completed within 4 days. If there are still application forms uncompleted after the 4 days, the property goes back on the market and viewings continue.
Step 5 - Your guarantor automatically receives an email and needs to submit the guarantor references
Step 6 - Pay one month's rent & sign the tenancy agreement Once all the checks are completed on your guarantor, you have a further 2 days to pay one month's rent and sign the tenancy agreement. Once all tenants have signed the tenancy agreement and paid one month's rent, the property is yours. The 1st month's rent will count towards your summer rent. Your next rent payment is therefore not due until either August or September, depending on whether you are staying in the property over the summer or not and what has been agreed with your Landlord. Step 7 - Pay your deposit The deposit is not due until 1st June. This needs to be paid to either [sitename] or your landlord, depending on who manages the property.
Best of all Everything is done electronically. You can complete all forms from the comfort of your home.
Important Ensure you confirm in writing if there was anything you pointed out during the viewing that was important to you and which you want to be part of the agreement. What else? Check out a sample copy of the Tenancy Agreement

Guarantor information All applicants require a guarantor who must be over 18 years of age, meet the affordability criteria and have a permanent UK based address. (A guarantor is someone, usually a parent, who promises to meet the terms of the tenancy, such as paying rent, if you don't. If you cannot provide a guarantor, speak to a member of staff. You may still be able to take a room.)
The tenancy is subject to contract, satisfactory guarantor references, tenant references and requested payments.

The admin fee is non-refundable and covers referencing & credit checks and processing of the application.
