Terms and Conditions of Tenancy

Payment Procedure for Rent - A standing order will be required for the payment of your rent on the rent due date each month i.E. 30th of the month. There must be cleared funds in our account in order for the 'move in' to occur, any hold ups may lead to charges and a delay in taking possession.

Tenancy Agreements - All tenancy agreements taken out on any Parish Properties Ltd property will be an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (ast).

Utilities – When taking possession. It is your responsibility to ensure the transfer of utilities suppliers, water supply & Council Tax to your name is carried out. Tenant Shop Limited acts on our behalf to notify the local council, water suppler(s) & energy provider(s) in line with your tenancy start date & secondly supply notifications to the local council, water supplier(s) & energy providers(s) from the date that you vacate the property. Tenant Shop limited will only use your information for the purpose of council & utility registration, closing of council & utility accounts & Energy/Media comparisons upon your arrival. Call Centre comparisons are completely optional for the tenant & can opt out at any time.
New Phone, broadband & TV installations-If you wish to install a new phone, broadband or TV connection in one of our rented properties we would ask you to call Tenant Shop on who will advise you of the available options or simply let them know the supplier you wish to use. We accept no responsibility for termination fees if you take out a contact longer than your initial tenancy period. Deposits – The Deposit is usually equivalent one and a half month's rent however this may be subject to change depending on circumstances i.E. If an animal is to be kept at the property.
