Where to live in London for the cleanest air

Price, location, property type and transport links are obvious considerations when you’re looking to buy or rent in the capital – but what about the quality of the air you breathe outside your front door?

Here at Zoopla, we’ve teamed up with – a new service which uncovers levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (N02) accurate to 20 metres squared across Greater London – to produce this interactive air pollution map.

The map is split into LSOAs (Lower Layer Super Output Areas, which are a collection of just a few streets) with each one being assigned an average N02 score. Bear in mind that N02 disperses quickly so each address can be higher or lower. is the creation of The Central Office of Public Interest (COPI) and uses data from King’s College London.
