Malcolm Warrack MARLAManaging Director
Malcolm founded Cullen Property in 1998 and has led and grown the company since then. His position as head of the organisation sees him being fully involved with all aspects of the company and the team. He has over 50 years’ experience in the property industry, which initially began as a Chartered Surveyor, before going on to a number of years in the commercial sector, and then into the private rented sector in 1996. Malcolm achieved his ARLA PropertyMark SCQF Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland, and is also Chairman of LetScotland, working with Lettingweb to represent letting agents in Scotland.
Steve CoyleOperations Director
Steve’s role centres on both new business and investor relations, as well as sourcing acquisition properties and overall general operational activities. Steve joined Cullen Property in 2003 and became joint owner and Operations Director after completing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Edinburgh in 2008. Steve is currently working towards his ARLA PropertyMark SCQF Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland. He brings a wealth of customer service and business experience gained from 30 years spent not only in the property industry but also in the banking and motor industry service management sectors.
Charlotte Gray MARLAProperty Sourcer and Projects Manager
Charlotte graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BA (Hons) in Business Management, joining Cullen Property in early 2014 from a large letting agency in the city. Charlotte has successfully achieved her ARLA PropertyMark SCQF Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland. Her role as Property Sourcer and Project Manager mainly concentrates on acquiring properties for investor clients, managing refurbishment projects and working with our team of trusted contractors on a daily basis, whilst dealing with all new HMO licenses and taking on new landlords and their properties.
Hannah McConnachieMarketing Executive
Hannah graduated from Queen Margaret University with a BA (Hons) in Media. Prior to joining Cullen Property September 2016, Hannah interned for several award-winning marketing and public relations agencies, gaining a wealth of experience which she has been able to put to great use at Cullen Property. As our Marketing Executive, Hannah’s primary role is to promote investment opportunities, properties for rent and further develop the Cullen Property brand.
Elaine Noble MARLAContracts Manager
Our Contracts Manager, Elaine, has over 13 years’ experience in the property industry. She joined the Cullen Property team in 2003 and holds a Modern Apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration. Elaine has also achieved her ARLA PropertyMark SCQF Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland. As Contracts Manager, Elaine’s role consists of responding to email enquiries, making phone calls, writing references for tenants, arranging viewings, checking-in and checking-out tenants, drawing-up lease agreements, contacting guarantors and liaising with tenants regarding their tenancy applications.
Hannah Doig MARLAProperty Administrator
Hannah joined Cullen Property in July 2015 and is one of the main contacts for incoming enquiries and visitors. Having achieved her SVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration, she is now studying towards her National Federation of Property Professionals Level 1. As one of our Property Administrators, Hannah’s role consists of working closely alongside our Contracts Manager, ensuring efficient management of all administrative and contractual duties relating to tenancies and renewals.
Emily Richardson MARLAProperty Administrator
Emily joined the Cullen Property team January 2016 and is one of the main contacts for incoming enquiries and visitors. Previously, Emily worked as a beauty and spa therapist before deciding she wanted a change in career path. Emily has always had an interest in the property industry and is now working towards her National Federation of Property Professionals Level 1. As one of our Property Administrators, Emily’s role consists of responding to emails, answering phone calls, arranging and attending property viewings and keeping herself and the team up-to-date with what properties are on the market.
Audrey Walsh MARLAProperty Manager
Audrey joined the Cullen Property team in 2001 and has 15 years’ experience in the property lettings and investment industry. Audrey has successfully achieved her ARLA PropertyMark SCQF Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland. The role of Property Manager is a very a varied role which primarily concentrates on being the main link between landlords, tenants and contractors. Audrey has an extensive knowledge of the properties in our portfolio, ensuring our clients’ properties are well maintained for our tenants, and is up to date with the high level of regulated requirements in a private rented sector property.
Vicky McLean MARLAProperty Manager
Vicky previously worked with another Edinburgh based property company before joining Cullen Property in early 2015 and has over seven years property management experience. Prior to this, Vicky also spent several years in the financial services industry with a company specialising in self-build property finance. She holds an HNC in legal services as well as a law degree and has a wealth of experience in the Edinburgh letting industry. She achieved her ARLA PropertyMark SCQF Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland. Vicky manages her own portfolio of rental properties dealing with all aspects of property management including specialist HMO regulations and block factoring. She maintains a keen interest in both property and legislation, ensuring clients and tenants are kept up to date at all times.
Dean Archbold MARLAProperty Manager
Dean joined Cullen Property in November 2013 from one of Edinburgh’s leading independent schools. He holds a National Examination Board of Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and has also successfully achieved his Level 6 Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) qualification. Dean is one of our four property managers and is responsible for ensuring his portfolio of properties, tenants and landlords are all well looked after. His highly focused customer ethos also ensures landlords and tenants always receive a friendly and efficient service.
Euan RodgersTrainee Property Manager
Euan joined Cullen Property as one of our four Property Managers in May 2017. Euan has previously worked with us as our Property Manager Support Administrator from 2013 – 2014. He then came back to Cullen from his international football scholarship, helping as our Maintenance Technician over two busy Summer periods and again from January 2017 – March 2017. Working in these roles has provided Euan with a strong, well rounded understanding of the property industry and a great Cullen Property team ethos. Euan manages his own property portfolio of rental properties across Edinburgh, ensuring all tenants, landlords and properties are well looked after.
John Martin MARLAProperty Managers Support Administrator
John graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a MSc in Property Management and Investment and has successfully passed his Level Six Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) qualification. Prior to joining Cullen Property in June 2014 John was employed in an administration role for a sports surfacing company and managed numerous projects both in the UK and overseas. As our Property Managers Support Administrator John is responsible for booking maintenance works and processing invoices and stock.
Paul RussellMaintenance Technician
Paul joined Cullen Property in 2017 as our Maintenance Technician. Prior to Cullen Paul worked as a Janitor for 11 years at one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious schools. With over 16 years’ experience in joinery, roofing, painting and decorating, he has also managed several building renovation and development projects in his spare time. Paul has become a great asset to the Cullen Property team. His role ensures that the company has an in-house maintenance service which allows landlord costs to be kept low and controlled, and yet provides a highly professional and tenant trusting service.
Anne LindsaySenior Accounts Manager
Anne is the company’s Senior Client Accounts Manager and joined the Cullen Property team in April 2013 from a leading factoring company. Ann oversees the smooth running of the Accounts Department which involves collecting tenant rents, paying landlords and contractors, and lodging tenant deposits in a timely manner. Ann supports the directors in producing the company management accounts, budgets and cash flows. Anne previously worked in banking for nine years, accountancy for thirteen years and factoring for six years, and has an Open University degree in accountancy and finance.
Louise OrrClients Account Manager
Louise graduated from Robert Gordon University with a BA in International Tourism Management, before joining Cullen Property in October 2012 as our Client Accounts Manager. She now has over five years’ experience in the industry, having previously worked in the accounts department of another letting agent in the city. Louise is responsible for ensuring the department’s strict deadlines are met and customer relations are upheld. Her role as Client Accounts Manager focuses on collecting tenant rents, paying landlords/contractors and ensuring deposits are lodged with TDS.
Penny MackenzieClients Account Manager
Penny joined the accounts team at Cullen Property in summer 2011 from another large letting agency in the city. Penny’s role involves collecting tenant rents, paying landlords and contractors, and lodging deposits with tenancy deposit schemes (TDS). Penny’s accounting background and property experience has strengthened the department and helped develop our landlord communications and services further.
