- Non-Building Land
- Recreational Use only
- Riparian Rights to use the river
- Ideal for mooring a boat in the Summer
All three plots to be sold together for a total price of £15,000.
Three agricultural plots of land in the ancient town of Rye. Land could be used for picnics, canoeing, with nature and are not advertised as building plots. 10 minutes walk to restaurants, moorings, promenade and all town attractions.
Any queries or if you would like to see the land, do get in touch and we will give you directions if you can’t locate with the map. Here’s the link to find them with What3words-
Plot A8 and Plot A7 are each 20m wide x 32m long (20m river facing freshwater river Brede) with fishing and riparian rights. Each extends 3m into the river. Plot C3 is 20m wide x 24m long.
There are three plots there and you could move a narrow boat there, to be used for 28 days per year which means most of the summer weekends.
The plots are marked with pegs by surveyors and they are part of a bigger land with no fences fitted.
Sheep from a local farm are grazing the lands (which is good they keep the grass down, so no maintenance needed).
These are not building lands, and the current owner has not applied for planning. It is more than likely that planning will not be approved for building here, as lands are part of the Dungeness and just a few minutes walk to the 16th century fort known as Camber Castle.
