Llandysul is a small town and community in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. As a community it consists of the villages of Capel Dewi, Horeb, Pont Sian, Pren-Gwyn, Tregroes, Rhydowen and the village of Llandysul itself. At the 2001 Census the community had a population of 1,484, reducing to 1,439 at the 2011 Census. Llandysul lies in the valley of the River Teifi and is visited for its fishing and canoeing. The wider community has a population of 2,732, as of 2011.

The nearby town of Carmarthen has a modern shopping centre, including a Tesco Super Store, Morrisons, lidl, aldi, Debenhams and a Marks & Spencer’s which makes it a great shopping experience.

Carmarthen has a leisure centre, bowling alley and a multi-screen cinema.

Additionally, the town is the location of the West Wales General Hospital (Glangwili), Dyfed Powys Police Head Quarters and Trinity St Davids which is part of the University of Wales.

Carmarthen is a very up and coming town with many large companies moving into the area, in 2018 S4C opened its £6,000,000 High Tech Headquarters on the grounds of the Trinity St Davids Campus.
The area around Cilgwyn Bach has plenty to offer to any age group from retirees to young families with a range of local amenities and activities to take part in such as walking, fishing, cycling or canoeing at one of the UK’s professional training centres.

Plot 3 Proposed House Type

The exterior of the building will be a mix of random stone facing with smooth render, the roof to be finished off with natural grey slate and velux style windows, all windows will be UPVC and finished off with a coloured composite door.

After travelling through Rhos/Saron take the right turning onto the A486 signposted Llandysul. Carry on this road through Pentrecwrt and you will shortly come to the roundabout on the by pass. Take the last exit and after a short distance turn left for Llandysul. Carry on this road into Pontwelly, turn sharp right next to the The Half Moon Pub. Carry on up this road, passing Jewsons, into Heol Y Dderwen and the plots will soon be found on your left
