***Vendor Comments*** “A Truuli unique property in a fantastic location. The building itself is a listed former church, the red concrete and stained-glass making it striking in appearance in the 1800s when built and indeed to this day. Our flat is located in the roof of the building, with the windows (both Velux and stained glass) offering an abundance of natural light that makes it feel open and bright. There are period features throughout, with wooden beams running through each room, and stained glass windows in both bedrooms and the reception room. The split-level layout also adds to the feeling of space, and I love the large kitchen/dining area, which is great for entertaining. The bedrooms are both well-sized doubles, with a built-in wardrobe in the master bedroom offering additional storage. We have also found that the space has been perfect at a time when working from home has become the “new normal”, with the flexibility and space to allow us to do so comfortably. We have also recently painted and laid new carpet throughout, and a new combi boiler was installed in 2019. Being so close to Crystal Place Park and Overground station (both a 3-minute walk away) means getting out and about is quick and easy. The amount of green space and local shops in the area makes you feel sufficiently far removed from busy city life, all the while being able to get to London Bridge in 20 minutes; although you don’t have to go far for a great choice of local pubs and variety of restaurants on the nearby Crystal Palace triangle. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better flat in a better location, and know we will not find one quite like it again.”
