We fell in love with ‘The Cottage’ the moment we first saw it. Hidden away from the road, it stands as our sanctuary with its timeless character and surprising spaciousness.

Over the last 4 years, we’ve lovingly carried out sympathetic modernisations to our home. Currently used our home office, it could easily be transformed into a third double bedroom, a playroom, or craft studio.
The living room, with its bay window and fitted shutters, is our cosy retreat. The wood-burning stove makes it our perfect spot to unwind.
The kitchen and dining space is the heart of our home. With handmade wooden cabinetry, marble-style island and worktops, and integrated appliances, is both functional and charming – a hub for social gatherings.
The utility room is practical yet stylish. With the usual integrated appliances and a wow factor vaulted ceiling and barn style garden door.
Upstairs, we've been lucky to enjoy two very generously sized bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes and filled with natural light. The family bathroom has been refreshed, along with a new boiler and Hive system (in 2023).
Outside, the well mature garden is our place of joy, with a newly laid country-style patio trimmed with original red bricks. Many happy memories have been made here, from al fresco meals to summer celebrations. The west-facing wrap around garden soaks up the sun late into the afternoon, while the secluded front garden is perfect for a morning coffee as the sun rises. On the gravel driveaway there is space for 3 cars as well as further garden storage.
We have truly loved living here and would stay forever if we could. We know that the next owners will also fall in love with the unique charm and warmth that make this house such a special place to call home.
