The Property:

‘Amber House’ is a family sized house behind brick and flint elevations, under a tiled roof, providing flexible accommodation over two floors. The ground floor has a welcoming entrance hall, which opens into a triple aspect kitchen/dining/living area. There is a fitted ‘Shaker’ style kitchen with a front aspect and a fitted aga, with an adjacent utility room and boiler room. Opening into the dining area, this has space for a table with a side aspect window. The sitting room has a Jetmaster fireplace, and French doors opening onto a patio featuring a large, shaded arbour. The family room also has French doors opening to the patio, with a large picture window and garden view overlooking the lawn. The downstairs bedroom has fitted wardrobes, with a jack-and-jill door to the adjacent shower room, which gives the flexibility of an additional cloakroom off the hall when convenient.

The turning wooden staircase has a large garden aspect bay window on the half-landing, giving large a large under stairs storage cupboard space. The main landing has a capacious airing cupboard and offers a pair of doors opening wide into the dual aspect drawing room, positioned to take advantage of beautiful far-reaching views, with another centrally fitted Jetmaster fireplace. This room could lend itself to division into two further bedrooms, along with the principal bedroom with shower room, and two others served by a further bathroom.

The annexe is self-contained and has been used as a photography studio. However, this would be perfect for a home office, teenage space, au pair or granny annexe.

Outside, manageable gardens face due South to the rear, with a lawn and shrub borders. The property is approached over a gravel drive with spacious parking to the front of the house, a detached double garage and further gravel driveway parking space to the side - which could create an enlarged garden if preferred.
