We moved here because it is a peaceful village location with lovely countryside to walk the dog and enjoy nature, but still close enough to get to town for extra amenities, and the major roads/train stations to be able to get further afield easily.

We soon discovered Ambrosden has a great community who all look out for each other, there is a nice cafe, 2 shops and a post office, along with a primary school, 2 nurseries, a village hall and multiple play parks or open green spaces within a very short walking distance. There are also 4 secondary schools and a variety of leisure activities that are all easily accessible from here.

This house was completely different when we bought it and we have spent many years renovating it and improving it to become the wonderful home it is today. It is perfect for families, not only in terms of location with the nursery/primary school being directly opposite, but also having good sized rooms and plenty of space for the family to grow and enjoy time together but also space to have time alone too.

It is also great for couples with the excellent spaces for entertaining in the kitchen and large decking in the garden.
We have also added the garden cabin as an extra space which can be used for remote working, or unwinding after a long day.

We have loved living here and have many happy memories that will stay with us forever. We hope the new owners love it as much as we have.
