Description
Onshore is a development of eight two bedroomed apartments on The Crescent, refurbished in 2018 It overlooks Towan Beach, the Island, the harbour on the western edge of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The Crescent connects to Bank Street in the town centre.
The exterior is white rendered, with grey cladding and a local stone wall at street level. Each apartment has a seaward facing balcony with a glass balustrade. There is an individual secure entry system to each apartment.
The entry into number 1, from the communal entrance, opens to a wide hall which opens onto two double bedrooms, both south facing, one of them with an en suite shower room. Another spacious shower room is off the hall, along with a laundry/utility cupboard.
The décor is pale with white walls, pale grey woollen carpets in the bedrooms and contemporary, attractively tiled shower rooms with quality fittings: The overall effect creates a modern, roomy, light interior, enhanced by the wide plank oak flooring that leads into the open plan living room and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully fitted with white units, topped with grey Pietra composite worktops and an island with built in Bosch oven, microwave, hob and a wine cooler. There is an integrated fridge freezer, a dishwasher and an instant hot water tap.
The lovely living room is dominated by the fabulous view from the floor to ceiling window and patio door. From the comfort of the sofas the frontline vista of the beach and the Island is endlessly fascinating as the light, the weather and the tides bring constant change to the view.
Opening the patio doors onto the terrace, the view expands towards the harbour.
Outside
The wide paved terrace, with glass balustrade, has a gate onto the path that goes directly down to the beach. The front of the building is well maintained with appropriate planting.
The secure parking area has designated spaces for each apartment. Also there is a communal storage shed with lockable compartments per property.
Located close to the centre of town, and with the closest beach literally just across the road, you are only a few steps away from all Newquay has to offer.
