Description
Built by Hillreed Homes to their Petworth specification and offering almost 2,500 sq.ft of accommodation, the owners have vastly improved the property over the last seventeen years with extensive modernisation, creating a wonderfully presented family home having extremely light accommodation with the majority of rooms being double aspect. Being one of just a handful of properties built in this exclusive cul de sac within the development, it is uniquely positioned on a corner plot with its garden adjoining open farmland to two sides, offering some fabulous countryside views and providing a good amount of privacy and seclusion.
The accommodation comprises storm porch with door into a generous entrance hall. To the left is the double aspect sitting room with brick inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove and patio doors into the garden. The dining room can be accessed from here or from the entrance hall and it enjoys a fabulous outlook across the rear garden with patio doors leading out. A door gives access to the modern fitted kitchen boasting granite work surfaces and a range of matching wall and base units with large breakfast bar, integral dishwasher and an eye level double oven. To the right of the entrance hall there is further access into the kitchen and an inner hall continues to a study overlooking the front, a separate utility with door to the side garden and a downstairs cloakroom. There is also a personal door into the integral double garage.
Outside
The property is approached via a brick paved driveway, which has been extended and provides parking for several cars and leads to the integral garage with two up and over doors. There is a pathway to the front door.
A generous Indian sandstone patio adjoins the rear of the property making the most of this private and secluded sunny south west garden, which is enclosed to all sides. An expanse of lawn continues around to the side with attractive flower and shrub borders and leads to a large wooden shed. There is a small vegetable growing area and a log store.
