Why buy this home?

Located on a no-through road within walking distance to both Newton Leys Local Centre with its many shops and pub, as well as the much-loved Jubilee Lake, this home is ideal for a young family looking to take that step up to their first detached home.

The rear extension which has been added has totally transformed the way you live in this home. As you enter there is a study to the left-hand side which is such a good size it could even be used as a snug if needed. Alternatively it has host two people if both parents work from home. The living room opposite can now be used more as a TV room as inevitably the family will want to take full advantage of the open-plan space created at the rear of the home.

Stretching the width of the house, the kitchen/dining/entertaining space is the star feature of this home. With plenty of cupboard and worktop space to be practical for growing families, there is also a handy utility room to keep mucky sports kits out of sight. The side access door also makes it the ideal doggy entrance after a day of exploring the countryside surrounding Newton Leys. There is room for a large dining table to fit the whole family, with a rear extension providing an additional living space. As this room has bi-fold doors opening to the garden, it's the perfect entertaining space. Whether it be a space for after dinner drinks whilst the children watch TV in the living room or a space for the whole family to enjoy on a daily basis, this room is sure to be the envy of your family and friends.

The rear garden is low maintenance thanks to the composite decking and artificial grass, meaning you can spend your summers enjoy the garden rather than attending to it. There is even the perfect location for a hot tub at the back as it is totally private to the neighbours.

Upstairs the master bedroom and ensuite commands the entire front of the house. With a triple built-in wardrobe and views over the protected greenery in front, this room is the respite from family life most parents want from a bedroom. The second bedroom is a generous double with plenty of space for wardrobes, whilst the third bedroom is a smaller double; ideal for a younger child. The fourth bedroom is a typical useable single which would be an ideal nursery or even an additional home working space. The family bathroom serves these three bedrooms and has an overhead shower as well as an all-important window.

Parking is provided by a driveway and garage which has power and light. There is also ample additional communal parking in front of the home which has less demand that other parts of the development as there are only homes on one side of this road.

The house is offered for sale chain-free as the sellers are not buying onward.

More about the location...

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
