What attracted you to the property when you bought it ?
We were attracted to this property because of it's brilliant location close to town and the park, just at the end of the road. We loved the pretty little garden with so much potential with its custom built shed.We love homes with character and liked the original Victorian features as well as the newly installed wood burner. We saw so much potential to make the home our own but appreciated how carefully it had been looked after over the years, making it perfect for our young family.
What have you enjoyed about living there ?
This has been a perfect home to start a family in. We wake up every day to help sound of birdsong! The location near the park has made us feel part of the community, with annual events including the lantern parade, Apple day and the summer fair all happening a stones throw away.We have benefitted from being close to town and a short walk to High brooms station. The house is close to 3 primary schools and a range of nurseries.Most of all we have enjoyed making this house our own, it is light, spacious but also cosy.
What improvements have you made to the house ?
We have made a range of improvements and modernisations including fitting a custom bin, buggy and bike shed in the front garden, fitting book shelves in the living room and renovating the under stairs storage with plaster boarding, a light and floor. We have added a decking area in the garden and established planting borders, which are now beautiful every year.
