Four Bedroom Detached House For Sale
Located within great ashby which offers a selection of local shops and businesses, whilst more comprehensive amenities can be found in the town centre or old town. There is also excellent access to London via the A1 junction 7 or 8 and the Stevenage station which provides access to Kings Cross.
The Seller’s view - "What really drew us to the property was the woodland views. It’s lovely opening up the shutters in the morning and watching the birds in the trees and seeing the squirrels on the fence from the living room, occasionally looking out for passing deer that come to graze in the evenings. Seeing the colours change in autumn, bluebells create a sea of purple in spring and all the wild flowers growing back every summer. Lakeside walks of Fairlands Valley offer another pleasant change of scenery which we enjoy on summer evenings. For dog walks and exercise it's ideal, just a 10 minute country walk to Great Ashby District Park - the perfect spot for a picnic, family meet up or a swing with the kids in the playground. Our Community Centre and shops are just down the road too, hosting a convenience store, vets, pharmacy, barbers and takeaway restaurants. Round Diamond is one of three outstanding primary schools in the area, hence why it’s such a sought after location with families. Busy Bee's nursery is just across the road too. The bus stop at the bottom of the road runs straight into the Town Centre with its many shops and department stores, and to Old Town with its mix of boutique shops, bars and eateries.Stevenage Leisure Park to the South offering a multiplex cinema, David Lloyd Gym, mini golf, Battle Bar and various restaurants, as well as the train station access from which Thameslink and lner trains connect to London in 16 minutes."
Ricky’s view - The house is positioned within a cul de sac overlooking protected beautiful woodland. Benefitting from three reception rooms, four fair sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home is set up very well for a family. The downstairs loo is convenient when friends and family are over, meaning not needing to go upstairs. I can only imagine how great the house is for entertaining, the large kitchen which leads on to the dining room provides such a great space. In the summer the French doors can bring the outside in and provides ease when serving food on the patio. Duel aspect rooms provide so much natural daylight and the built in wardrobes prevents needing to bring in additional furniture. Both bathrooms have recently been refurbished so you won't need to touch them. The homeowners have informed me how well they get on with their neighbours and how they're all very friendly and all look out for each other.
