We moved to 29 Priors Gardens in 2021 and have absolutely loved making it our home. It has been the perfect space for our little family—and our beloved dog—filled with warmth, comfort, and wonderful memories.
Over the years, we’ve made several cosmetic updates, giving the house a fresh, modern feel while preserving its charm. With spacious rooms and a secluded garden, it has been the backdrop for some of our most cherished moments—from our engagement to summer BBQs and lively gatherings with family and friends.
Living in the heart of the village has been a true joy. Within a short walk, we’ve enjoyed a well-stocked local garage, a delightful bakery, an award-winning curry house, two friendly traditional pubs, and a vibrant village hall offering activities for the whole community. The area also boasts plenty of green spaces for scenic walks, a convenient bus route to Spencers Wood and Reading, and access to some of the best schools in the borough.
As much as we love this home, it has become too big for our needs. While leaving will be bittersweet, we know it’s time for another family to create their own wonderful memories here—just as we have.

wow! This is a seriously impressive four bedroom detached family home which has no onward chain complications.
Through the front door you have a lovely entrance hall space with your downstairs loo then a massive lounge to the left with double doors leading to the garden space. On the other side of the home is nice deep kitchen/dining room with the all important breakfast bar area. This room also has double doors to the garden space making the downstairs flow perfectly and is an ideal entertaining space. The garden area has no one overlooking it and has all been landscaped - it really is a beautiful space.
Upstairs each floor has 2 bedrooms. The double bedrooms on the first floor both have en suites and the main bedroom has a massive dressing area with double wardrobes too - the room is seriously impressive! Two further bedrooms are on the second floor along with the family bathroom.

Priors Gardens is the popular "Brambles" development in Spencers Wood village which offers the perfect lifestyle balance. Rural living but surrounded by traditional pubs and countryside with Reading nearby too. Spencers Wood has local amenities including a post office, convenience store and the recently reopened Swan Pub just a short walk away and you're not too far from either Shinfield and Lower Earley offering further amenities and pubs. You are also really well connected from here with access to junction 11 of the M4 within a few minutes, bus links into Reading and Wokingham and the Green Park Railway link making commuting into London even easier.
