Accommodation
The property offers generous accommodation over two floors, with multiple configurations making it a great entertaining and family space. There is an integrated speaker system, automated lights and curtains and underfloor heating. The first reception space is the bright dining area which has two aspects. There is a delightful family area/snug off the kitchen with its own set of bi folding doors out to the garden in a bay window. It is open plan to the modern and bright kitchen which includes a Miele 5 burner hob with BBQ insert, built in French style fridge freezer, double ovens and a separate preparation sink. A central island provides both plenty of storage options and a stool seating area. There are bifolding doors to the garden room beyond, as well as a long section of roof lights. The garden room is a superb entertaining space. It has two walls of bifolding glazed doors, bringing the outside in and allowing light to flood through the room. Access to the living room is either via the main hallway or the garden room, again through bi-folding doors. This allows the majority of the ground floor to be opened up when entertaining, if required. The living room is a comfortable relaxing space with a built in audio visual wall and central modern gas inset fireplace with remote control. This floor also includes a fully fitted study with a plant room located off it and a contemporary guest w.c.
The first floor is accessed via a solid walnut floating staircase. The main bedroom has views over the garden and includes a wall of built in wardrobes. It is a spacious bedroom with air conditioning and a frosted glass door to the ensuite. This includes a jacuzzi bath tub and separate walk in shower with a rainfall shower head. It has an interconnected door to the fifth bedroom. This is currently fitted as a large dressing room with built in storage, but could be converted to a double bedroom, if required. The guest bedroom has a modern ensuite with large walk in shower. There are two further double bedrooms, one with built in wardrobes and a pretty bay window. They share a four-piece family bathroom including a second jacuzzi bath and separate shower. There is also a loft boarded for storage which includes two velux roof lights.
Outside space
The front of the property is set behind wide electric gates opening into a gravel driveway with parking for multiple vehicles. There is a pretty lawn with a tree and the house is surrounded by brick walls and tall hedges for privacy. To one side is a secure gate leading to a side utility area with a further secure gate leading to the garden.
At the rear, the garden is mainly south facing and well landscaped, zoned to provide multiple pretty areas. It begins with a limestone paved patio including ornate flower beds, a water feature and a BBQ pagoda, complete with gas and electric supply. The whole garden is fitted with electric lighting and watering hoses. There is a central gas fire pit set centrally in a square stone table and surrounded by built in benches. Decking runs alongside the garden room providing a further seating and relaxing area. Wide steps lead up to the formal lawn which is surrounded by topiaried hedges and mature shrubs. There is a lit path, fully paved, at the side leading to the outbuilding and separate storage shed at the rear. The outbuilding is fitted with lighting, power and water. It is mostly obscured by a hedge, disguising its large size. It is currently a workshop, but could be used as a gym, home office or studio.
