Light, bright and wonderfully proportioned, this ground-floor one-bedroom flat in West Green has a secluded garden that expands the space for summer living.
Brickworks Says
On a leafy street in the West Green area of Tottenham, this inviting home has some very pleasing attributes, starting with the checkerboard tiles that lead you to the front door.
Inside, the living spaces are large and welcoming. The lounge at the front has space for relaxing alongside room for a desk and floor-to-ceiling shelves in the alcove next to the chimney breast. Facing south, light pours in through the bay windows, bringing to life the injection of vibrant blue on the walls. The splash of blue is echoed in the bedroom, with a window looking out onto the garden and handy space-saving built-in storage.
Towards the back of the flat, the contemporary bathroom is clean and bright, while the spacious kitchen––simple and practical––opens out onto the garden. Step outside to a secluded space surrounded by green, the perfect setting for unwinding or living it up al fresco in the summertime.
In recent times, Tottenham has gone from being one of the capital’s most underrated neighbourhoods to one of its most coveted, particularly for young families and creatives. The area is bursting with microbreweries, coffee shops and foodie go-tos, all frequented by the diverse, tight-knit community. And with the arrival of the weekend market in West Green, it's just one more reason to give the area a look.
The Owners Say
We have loved calling this flat our home over the past eight years, and there’s so much we’ll miss about it. From summer barbecues in the garden to sunlight streaming through the bay windows onto the sofa and cosy evenings spent cooking together in the spacious kitchen, it’s been a place filled with warmth and wonderful memories.
The location has been equally charming. With quick access to central and east London and a vibrant neighbourhood full of pubs, parks, cafés, and restaurants, we’ve never run out of things to do on the weekends.
The flat itself is a true gem - spacious and airy, with tall ceilings and a beautiful private garden that has been our little oasis. We are sad to be moving on but hope that this flat can be just as cherished for the next owners.
