Horniman Museum and Gardens is very close and holds regular farmers' markets, great summer events and a butterfly sanctuary, while Honor Oak Park, Blythe Hill Fields and Sydenham Woods is also within walking distance.

There is also a great selection of local Primary schools and nurseries, including the outstanding rated Kilmorie Primary School (0.25 miles), Rathfern primary (0.40), Perrymount Primary (0.46), Dalmain primary school (0.62) and Rose House Montessori nursery (0.54 miles).
