A fantastic 72 sqm 2 bedroom flat that could easily be reconfigured internally, that benefits from a lovely garden of 52 feet and is situated in one of the most popular roads in West Norwood. Offers over £475,000.
We moved into this property in 2020 and it has been a fantastic and happy first home for us as a family.
The first things that really grabbed us were the quietness of the road, and the garden, as we wanted outside space of our own, and this flat had two outside spaces which was brilliant!.
The living room is spacious and filled with lots of lovely natural light. The combined kitchen and dining area is a great entertaining space and it looks out to our garden. During the summer we keep the bifold doors open to the garden all day, and allow a breeze to blow through keeping us cool. The Kitchen is big enough for a party and we've had a few great BBQ's with friends over the years.
Casewick Road has a super friendly community vibe, with a neighbourhood WhatsApp group where people lend and borrow items and organise an annual street party. That was such a lovely thing to find out after moving in.
West Norwood has so much to offer. It is very well connected with the overground train running direct to Clapham/ Victoria and London Bridge and multiple bus routes heading straight into Brixton, Streatham, Tooting and Central London.
West Norwood has its very own Picture house cinema and library, with events taking place every month. Not to mention the Feast street fair which occurs on the first Sunday of the month, with lots of delicious food stalls and local artisans selling crafts and goods.
Some of our favourite places to eat in the area are 400 Rabbits sourdough pizza, Mojo Mexican, and Badger Badger. Or if we are looking for more options for a meal out it's easy to hop on the bus and head to Brixton village.
We are spoiled for lovely parks and green spaces- our local favourites are Norwood Park, Dulwich Park, Streatham Common, Brockwell Park and Tivoli Park. All of them are within 10-20 minutes of West Norwood.
We're now ready to purchase a house, and will be staying in the area as we enjoy West Norwood so much.
Agents Comments - This flat could easily be reconfigured, without too much expenditure to create a layout with two double bedrooms, if that was preferred. Many similar sized flats have made these changes and have been marketed and sold for a much higher price.
