Owners comments...
We bought the house in summer 2022 after finding out we were expecting our first baby. We loved how much space it had and could instantly see ourselves settling in and growing as a family there.
We spent a few weeks redecorating and settled in pretty quickly. One of our favourite spots was the master bedroom - it was a great size (almost 21 feet, I think!) and took up the whole top floor, so it felt really peaceful and tucked away from the rest of the house. There was loads of built-in storage for both of us, which made it easy to keep the space tidy and open.
The south-facing garden was a sun trap in the summer and brought loads of natural light into the living room. There’s a nature reserve just next to the estate that’s perfect for walks, especially if you’ve got a dog!
The street had a lovely, friendly vibe. Everyone was really welcoming, and we especially looked forward to the weekly visit from the fish and chip van - very handy during the newborn days!
Sadly, we had to move out not long after we moved in because of work, so a family friend has been renting the place for the last 2 years. Although our time in Poperinghe Way was brief we certainly had a lovely time living there.

Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this three-bedroom town house is set over three spacious floors and offers loads of space. Downstairs, you’ve got hard, uninterrupted flooring throughout, a kitchen/breakfast room at the front, handy downstairs loo, and a big lounge/diner at the back that opens straight onto the south-facing garden which is absolutely perfect for sunny days and evening BBQs.
Up on the first floor, you’ll find two double bedrooms and the family bathroom, which has been stylishly retiled by the current owners. And the top floor? That’s where you’ll find the main event – a huge main bedroom with fitted wardrobes running the full length of one wall and its own en suite. It’s a really lovely space!
Outside, there’s a garage and parking for two cars which is a real bonus in this area!
With a closed onwards chain this will be popular to get in touch to arrange your viewing.
Area comments...
Poperinghe Way is a peaceful little close tucked just off one of the roundabouts along Eversley Way, offering a quiet setting while still being right at the heart of Arborfield's growing community.
You're within walking distance of a handy local Co-Op for everyday essentials, plus several parks, scenic walks, schools, and the community centre, all right on your doorstep. Families will also enjoy nearby attractions like California Country Park and Lockey Farm, which are great for days out with the kids. For shopping, dining, and entertainment, Wokingham Town Centre is just a 5-minute drive away and if you're heading further afield, Reading Town Centre is around 20 minutes by car, with several route options depending on the time of day to help you avoid the traffic.
This area also benefits from all the new development in the Arborfield area - making it a great spot for both convenience and future potential.
