We were told that it was built by the bricks from the kiln that was once on the road, and it is certainly an extremely solid house! In that time we have added a two story rear and side extension. We did manage to preserve the original 1930’s parquet flooring in the hallway.
The house has proved flexible, suiting our changing needs as our family grew. It’s surrounded by beautiful mature trees and the neighbours are kind and friendly. It manages to strike the balance between having a sense of space around you, but being within walking distance to local shops. It really has been the best place to raise our children.
