Here's what the vendors had to say about their lovely family home
What really attracted us to the property when we bought it was the location — it’s in a quiet, peaceful area, just a 2-minute walk from open fields, orchards, and playgrounds, which is perfect for getting outdoors. It’s also only an 8-minute walk to the train station, making it super convenient. We loved that it’s south-facing, so it gets plenty of natural light, and it feels very private — a real hidden gem.
What improvements have you made to the house ? As the house was a new build when we bought it, we had the opportunity to make it our own from the start. We installed all the carpets and flooring throughout, completed the bathrooms to a high standard, added fitted wardrobes for extra storage, and landscaped the garden to create a beautiful and functional outdoor space. We really saw this as our forever home, so we put a lot of thought and care into every detail.
What have you enjoyed about living there ? What we’ve really enjoyed about living here is the sense of privacy the house offers — it feels like a peaceful retreat. We've also been lucky to have wonderful neighbours and a real sense of community. The location is incredibly convenient, with local shops, the train station, and a great school all close by. We’ve especially loved being just a short walk from open fields and green spaces, perfect for long walks and spending time outdoors.
