Four Bedroom Semi Detached House For Sale
Located within chells manor which offers a selection of local shops and businesses, whilst more comprehensive amenities can be found in the town centre or old town. There is also excellent access to London via the A1 junction 7 or 8 and the Stevenage station which provides access to Kings Cross.
The Seller’s view - "“We've recently refurbished the kitchen and bathroom, so the next owners can enjoy a beautifully updated home without having to worry about major expenses. The layout works so well for day-to-day living—there are patio doors from both the kitchen and the dining area that lead directly out to our sun-trap garden, making it easy to enjoy the outdoor space and let in plenty of natural light. One feature we've found especially convenient is the downstairs toilet, which is a real bonus for families or when guests are over. We've also had shutter blinds fitted throughout the home—they’re stylish, durable, and definitely not cheap! They've really elevated the interior look and offer fantastic privacy and light control. The converted garage has been a real game-changer, giving us the flexibility of an additional bedroom which has worked well as a guest room, but could be transformed to a home office. Our living room over the years has been a cozy and comfortable space to sit down with the family and watch a film. There’s also an external utility cupboard, which is incredibly handy for keeping laundry appliances and other essentials tucked away, helping us keep the main house clutter-free. The garden is very low maintenance, with a neat mix of decked area, patio space and lawn—ideal if you’re not big into gardening but still want a pleasant outdoor space. One of the biggest benefits for us has been being able to keep an eye on the kids from both reception areas while they play outside, offering real peace of mind.
Ricky's perspective - This home is located on one of the most desirable roads in Chells Manor, known for its peace, safety, and friendly neighbours. As someone who grew up in Chells Manor, I can say firsthand how quiet and family-friendly this area is. There are woodland walks and a local park just around the corner—perfect for dog walkers, runners, or families looking to enjoy time outdoors. You’re never far from green open space here. And when you run out of an ingredient or fancy a treat, the local shops are just a short walk away. The Fish and Chip shop is fantastic, and Hasan Balti is a lovely local Indian takeaway. It’s all on the same parade as the pharmacy, doctors’ surgery, and community centre, which has been really convenient for everyday living. The home externally boasts off-street parking, whilst the road also has no restrictions and the current homeowners always typically park outside their front door too. Inside, the laminate/tiled flooring throughout part of the ground floor makes cleaning a breeze and is a good option for those with allergies. Solid oak internal doors are fitted, offering both aesthetic appeal and lasting quality. The fitted wardrobes in the two biggest bedrooms provide excellent storage solutions, making the most of the available space. All in all, this home offers a fantastic balance of practicality, style, and location.
