About this property
"We’ve absolutely loved living in our home on Seneca Street for the past eight years. This home has been a true labour of love—we’ve poured our hearts into transforming it into a warm, welcoming space that's full of character and charm. One of our favourite features is the south-west facing garden, which enjoys sunlight from morning until evening. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind, with thriving berry plants and a greenhouse that’s perfect for your horticultural needs. The street has a genuine sense of community, and we often enjoy spending time chatting with our friendly neighbours. We also love being nestled between two beautiful iconic green spaces—Troopers Hill and St George’s Park. We will be very sad to leave our wonderful home and we hope that it makes someone else as happy as it has made us over the years.”
Seneca Street is situated in St George, between Church Road and Avonview Cemetery, which occupies a large space above the River Avon and its riverside walks. St George’s Park is across Church Road from Seneca Street and is one of the city’s most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Seneca Street near to the very popular Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much-loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
This bay fronted two bedroom home is beautifully decorated and offers potential buyers a peaceful sanctuary. On entering this house the hallway leads to the rear of the home and to the right is the dining room that opens out to the living room. This space has stripped back wooden floorboards, a log burner and chic design details and accessories that give the space so much character. Given the space is open plan and benefits from windows at the front and double doors to the rear the natural light is plentiful. The kitchen at the back of the home is well equipped and has doors leading out to the garden. The garden has been well-loved and has a greenhouse. Upstairs, there are two generous double bedrooms and a beautifully designed family bathroom. The loft offers excellent potential for conversion into a third bedroom, subject to the necessary permissions.
