Owners Comments...
We bought this as our very first family home back in 1988, and it was love at first sight. The unique character and charm of the house drew us in immediately, and we’ve always taken care to preserve that cosy, cottage-style feel throughout. It’s where we raised our three children, built a lifetime of memories, and formed friendships that have lasted decades. With excellent local schools and fantastic community clubs – from tennis and golf to football – it’s been a brilliant place to bring up our family. We’ll always hold a special place in our hearts for this home and the wonderful neighbourhood around it.
James The Agents Comments...
Old Elm Cottage is one of those homes you don’t forget. With its double-fronted layout, original features, and generous living space, it offers something different from the norm. The stable door, period fireplace, and beamed ceilings give it a warm, traditional feel.
What really stands out is the flexibility. There are three reception rooms on the ground floor—great for family life, working from home, or entertaining. Upstairs has four proper bedrooms, two bathrooms, and loads of scope to update or personalise over time.
The carriage driveway, garden with storage shed, and chain-free status all add to its appeal. If you’re looking for a character property with space and potential in a well-connected part of Harrow, this one is worth a closer look.
