There is also a section where the proposal is to extend a lease for 999 years.
In January this year part of the new act was implemented into law and that means you no longer have to wait two years before you could transfer the lease from one owner to the other. This can now be done immediately, therefore giving a strong indication that other parts of the act will also come into effect.
