Seller's Comment...
This has truly been our cherished family home for the past ten years, and honestly, we wouldn't be looking to move if it wasn't for an exciting work opportunity to relocate to Spain. As we had always envisioned this as our long-term residence, we have poured our hearts and souls into its meticulous renovation, ensuring every detail was considered. It's truly ready for its next owners to simply unpack and begin making their own memories.
We've loved the incredible flow and layout of the house. On sunny days, opening up the bi-fold doors from the lounge to the beautifully landscaped, low-maintenance garden creates a seamless indoor-outdoor living space that's perfect for relaxing or entertaining. We especially enjoy the connection from the garden into the playroom/dining room through the French doors, which then leads effortlessly into our bright and modern kitchen - it's a layout that works so well for family life.
The extensive work we've undertaken means so much has been updated: From the rear dormer extension that added a fourth bedroom and enlarged the master, to the new combi boiler, full rewire, and all-new double glazing installed throughout. We also took great care to landscape both the front garden and the private, south-facing rear garden with artificial turf, making outdoor living a breeze. The loft is even boarded and insulated with an integrated ladder, offering fantastic storage or future potential.
Beyond the house itself, the location has been absolutely wonderful. Being tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac provides such peace, yet we're just a 10-minute stroll from Crowthorne High Street with all its amenities. The exceptional school catchments for Oaklands Infant and Junior School and Edgbarrow School plus the proximity to Our Lady's Preparatory School were a huge draw for us and have been fantastic. We've also been incredibly fortunate to have the most lovely neighbours, who have become good friends, and we'll definitely be staying in touch with them.
We sincerely hope the new owners will love living here and enjoy all the hard work we've put in, creating as many happy memories as we have in this truly special home.
Will and Mike's Comment...
As you can see from the details, this house has been fully renovated from top to bottom and is extremely well presented with a superb finish throughout. It has some great space on offer both upstairs and downstairs and is ready to move straight into. Our sellers have perfectly summed up why not only is this a great house but also a fantastic location with so much right on your doorstep. Nestled in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac, this home sits in a prime location and would make an ideal family home as it has done for our sellers.
To the front you have an open entrance hall with plenty of natural light pouring through the floor to ceiling window, this then leads you to a refitted shower room which has been tastefully finished. Across from this you have a reception room which is currently set up as an office with Direct fibre connection via City Fibre, offering speeds up to 999mbps. This makes for an ideal work from home space or possibly a playroom. On the opposite side of the hallway you have one of our favourite rooms in this home which is the front to back living room, as you can see it has lots of light but what we love are the bi-folding doors leading onto the garden. In fact the entire house has had new double glazing throughout, a complete re-wire and entire re-work of the central heating with new Bosch combi boiler and Hive control system.
Moving to the back of this home is where it gets special, with a superb refitted kitchen. It is an excellent specification with the white curved units and solid wooden worktops, built in appliances such as your oven, five ring gas hob and of course fridge freezer. There is also direct access into the garage and to the side of the house from here. The home has been extended to the rear now offering a further reception room with French doors onto the garden, this could be set up as a separate dining room or as are current sellers have.
Upstairs you have four bedrooms, all of the bedrooms are a good size with two of them being comfortable double rooms and bedroom two benefitting from built in storage. The main bathroom has a great finish much like downstairs and has been fully tiled. The master bedroom however is absolutely huge with the dormer having been extended giving you a vast amount of space to play with for free standing furniture. The loft was insulated and boarded at floor level, with an integrated pull-down loft ladder for easy access, offering potential for further development.
The garden is one of the key feature selling points of this home, not only has it been fully landscaped with artificial grass and patio but it's also south facing and extremely private. We love how sunny it is all day long and creates a perfect entertaining space for those warmer days. There is side access to the front of home where you have ample driveway parking and of course the garage as we've mentioned. Homes like this in truly immaculate condition don't often come to the market, so if you are looking for a spacious family home that is in a great location then this really is not one to miss out on, we can't wait to take you on a tour in person to show you how good it really is.
