The Seller’s View
We first fell in love with this house 22 years ago and from the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Nestled in a peaceful part of Tadley, Hampshire, the combination of character and tranquillity made it the perfect choice for our first home and it has been a cherished family space ever since.
This has been a truly special place to raise our son and build a life filled with happy memories. The quiet, neighbourly atmosphere has been one of the standout features. There is a strong sense of community here, with friendly, respectful neighbours and a feeling of safety and support that is hard to find.
One of our favourite parts of the home is the beautiful south facing garden. Surrounded by mature trees, it offers privacy and a real connection to nature. From relaxing afternoons in the sun to enjoying the peaceful sounds of local wildlife — hedgehogs, owls, and songbirds are regular visitors — it has been a haven of calm and joy.
As we look ahead to our next chapter, we do so with immense gratitude for the time we have had here. This home and the lovely Tadley community around it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
The Agent’s View
This is one of those homes that just works. Whether you are buying for the first time, downsizing, or looking for a solid rental investment, it ticks a lot of boxes. The layout flows nicely, the decor is modern and tasteful, and there is very little that needs doing before moving in. Just bring your furniture and settle in.
Outside, the garden feels private and well kept, there is a garage and driveway parking, and an area at the front that could be turned into extra parking, as many of the neighbours have already done.
This two bedroom semi offers more space than you might expect. A decent hallway leads into a stylish kitchen and a bright reception room, with access between the two. Upstairs, you will find two proper double bedrooms, one with built in wardrobes, along with a smart family bathroom.
Yes, the windows are single glazed, but with an EPC rating of C and a sensible asking price, it is not something that needs urgent attention.
Property Investors, Take Note!
Based on a conservative rental estimate of £1,350 per month, the gross annual yield comes in at 4.9 percent. And because it’s freehold, there are no ground rent or service charges chipping away at your return.
