Description
1 The Oaks was constructed in 2015 on the site of a farmyard formerly known as Coldrachie. It is the largest of five properties that currently occupy the site and being on the western edge of the development it has lots of privacy whilst also being part of a small, neighbourly community. There is gravel parking at the front of the house and the main entrance is by way of double doors that open into the large kitchen/dining room which is the heart of the home. This room stretches from the front to the back of the property with full height windows filling the room with light. With a large central island and a five oven aga and it is superb for family life and for entertaining. The garden room and the dining room are also fabulous entertaining rooms linked by a double sided fire place and with herringbone flooring flowing through both rooms, they have a different but equally stylish feel to them. A glazed wall opens up to join the garden room seamlessly to terrace on warm days. On the ground floor there is also a cosier sitting room with a wall of fitted book shelves. More practical rooms include the boot room, utility room and WC which are all at the rear of the house. On the first floor the principal bedroom suite has a balcony overlooking the garden and the paddocks. It has a large dressing room with fitted shelving and a luxurious shower room. Bedroom 2 has an ensuite shower room while three further double bedrooms all have fitted wardrobes and share a large bathroom with shower. A home office on the first floor could be used as a sixth bedroom if required. The property is tastefully decorated and much of it has been recently refurbished. It is beautifully presented and in move-in condition.

The land extends down to the Schochie Burn on the northern boundary of the property and includes some light woodland and banking on the fringes of the property.
