We have absolutely loved being in this home since buying it brand new in 2019. Our first home together and it holds a very special place in our heart.
We love that you can feel completely hidden away, yet still be a 5 minute walk to the local Budgens. There are beautiful country walks all around, a great location to lots of parks and pubs. We love walking down to Six Bells and The Shinfield Arms.
The garden is peaceful and catches the sunshine all day long, perfect for hosting bbq’s and dinners for our family and friends, or letting our little one run around in! The kitchen is a great entertainment space and we often find it being the hub of the home.
We love the location too, as Reading town centre is less than a 15 minute drive. You have easy access to London on the train, with Paddington station being 25 minutes away. It’s also a 5 minute drive to the M4, saving us a lot of time when commuting to work.
We are genuinely very sad to be leaving and know that the new owners will enjoy making some special memories of their own, in this beautiful home, just as we have.

You’ve got some great local amenities in Three Mile Cross, including The Swan pub and a handy Budgens just a short stroll away. You’re also not far from Shinfield and Lower Earley, which both offer even more shops, pubs, and everyday essentials. Commuting? You’re well covered here too with easy access to the M4 and A33, the Mereoak Park and Ride for buses into Reading, and the new Green Park station with direct train links to London. It’s a brilliant spot for families or anyone needing great transport connections.
