location

New Haven is located on Low Street in the popular village of East Markham. The village benefits from a very popular Primary School, public house serving home cooked food and the village hall which has regular events on for the community. Their is also a local bowls club as well as the growing Bassetlaw Bulldogs rugby league club for all age groups for the kids and now adults. The village has a really good little community. Little additions include the bad apple bar which opens on a wkd, a lovely spot for a tipple in the summer and winter months often with a cheeky food van, and a playing field with plenty of space for the kids to enjoy. Countryside walks are amazing locally and we are lucky to have some really good country pubs that serve amazing food.

The market towns of Retford and Newark are a short drive away and offer a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants as well as all your super markets. They both offer direct train links to London Kings Cross and Leeds. The A1 can be accessed at nearby Markham Moor which gives links to the regions major towns and cities.

Lincoln is a nice drive and there are more boutique shops and restaurants here as well as the Castle and Cathedral which are big tourist attractions. Other great spots for the family include Sundown Adventure for the kids, Clumber Park and Sherwood forest are great spots for walking and Yorkshire Wildlife is a great day out for all the family.

Local sports teams include Milton Cricket club offering cricket for various age groups as well as adults. Football again has plenty of options for the kids and Retford Rugby Club and mentioned earlier Bassetlaw Bulldogs give plenty of options for Rugby. Spoilt for choice with local golf clubs all within a short drive away but include Rufford, Worksop and Torksey.

Description

The current owners have made New Haven the perfect place to move straight in. Having completely refurbished the property to include a new heating system, wiring, kitchen and bathroom as well as many other hidden extras.

The property has a gated driveway providing ample parking along with a tandem garage giving you extra space if you need a workshop or just extra space to store belongings. We will start the tour entering the front door into a light and spacious entrance hall. With access to most downstairs rooms we will go left for this purpose. Entering the kitchen area which is recently fitted to create a stunning space to prepare dinner. Ample worktop space along with wall and base units for storage and complete with integrated appliances. The Oil Central heating boiler is located here also.

This opens into the dining area and creates a lovely space while dinner is being prepared the kids can be sat at the dinner table relaxing waiting for a tasty meal. A great place also if entertaining with the open plan aspect. This leads into a utility area and conservatory. Both rooms provide extra space to have extra appliances, boots and coats and even a cheeky play room maybe for the kids. Continuing round the conservatory has doors opening from the living room. Again a nice little addition is the multi fuel stove creating a nice cosy room in the winter with views overlooking the garden. Going full circle back into the entrance hall you have the downstairs WC.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms, i would say all doubles. The main bedroom is located at the rear of the house with nice views and currently having free standing wardrobes. These take advantage of the stunning recently fitted bathroom with free standing bath.

Outside along with the ample parking and garage you have various patios to take advantage of the sun at different times. Lawns and well stocked borders complete the garden space.
