Welcome to Crossways

Crossways is a prestigious development of new homes in Slough comprising 1,2 and 3-bedroom apartments. All properties are finished to a high specification and include modern design features, such as en-suite bathrooms, open-plan living spaces and integrated kitchen appliances. Most apartments have balconies, or terraces and underground gated parking is available.

Slough town centre is undergoing major redevelopment, including the upgrading of the railway station in readiness for Crossrail, which is set to open in 2019. Currently train services to London terminate at Paddington, but the new service will enable travel through central London without changes and could reduce journey times. A further train line – the Western Rail Access to Heathrow – would cut journey times to the airport from more than 40 minutes to around six minutes and is due to become operational in 2021. Just a 15-minute walk (five-minute car journey) from the station, Crossways is therefore an ideal base for professionals commuting to the capital, or surrounding towns such as Reading, and will also appeal to investors.

For road travel, the M4, which links Slough to Reading, Heathrow Airport, the M25 and central London, is also easily accessible and can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car.

A number of well-regarded schools can be found in the local area catering for both primary and secondary age pupils. These include St Mary’s Church of England Primary School, James Elliman Academy, Slough and Eton Church of England Business and Enterprise College, and Upton Court Grammar School. For the over-16s, East Berkshire College, which has campuses in Langley and Windsor, offers a variety of apprenticeships, A levels, academic and professional courses.

Shopping in the town is focused around Queensmere Observatory mall, which has more than 100 stores, a multiplex cinema and several eateries, and along High Street, which is also home to a selection of restaurants, bars and cafés. Fashion and homewares stores can be found at Bath Road Shopping Park, around 10 minutes drive from the development, while Windsor’s celebrated shopping district, with its plethora of designer boutiques, department stores, specialist and independent retailers, is also around 10 minutes away by car.

Sport and leisure opportunities are plentiful and the town is home to football, hockey and rugby clubs, as well as Absolutely Ice, which hosts classes in figure skating, hockey and ice dance. Montem Leisure Centre, less than a mile from Crossways, offers a variety of facilities including three indoor swimming pools, sports courts, gym and spa, while Thames Valley Athletics Centre, just over a mile away, has an outdoor track, sports hall, gym and squash courts.

For relaxing in the open air, Herschel Park and Upton Court Park are just a short walk from the development. Windsor Great Park – 5,000 acres of green space incorporating walking trails, cycle routes and bridleways – can be reached in around 20 minutes by car.
