The farm is located in the heart of Tuscany and covers an area of 76 ha between 150 and 300 metres above sea level. The vineyards are south-west facing.
The agricultural land is cultivated in accordance with ec regulations for organic farming and is divided as follows:
The south-west facing vineyards cover 20.5 ha, of which 19 ha are DOCG Chianti dei Colli Fiorentini.
The grape varieties are approx. 15 ha of Sangiovese and approx. 5.5 ha of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Vermentino, Colorino, as well as some white grape varieties of the area.
The vineyards are currently leased annually.
Olive grove approx. 9 ha with the classic varieties Moraiolo, Pendolino, Leccio del Corno and Frantoio.
The agricultural area is supplemented by approx. 4 ha of walnut trees and a mixed forest of approx. 28 ha, which includes a truffle ground with black truffles.
The water supply is provided by its own well, which delivers 20 l per minute even in summer.
Wine cellar and warehouse
The approx. 1,400 m2 building comprises two levels.
On the lower level with access from the street is the wine cellar with concrete tanks with a total capacity of 420,000 l.
The level above, with access from the courtyard, is divided into offices, a tasting room and large storage rooms. Two further rooms were formerly used to store the wooden barrels for maturing the wines.
Residential building:
The 2-storey country house attached to the wine cellar comprises two flats, storage rooms for storing oil and an attic room (approx. 60 m2) where the Vin Santo used to mature.
