Multi award-winning agency Charters returns to Zoopla

  • One of the South East’s leading agents, properties from Charter’s seven branches across Hampshire and Surrey are now featuring on Zoopla

  • Charters left Zoopla in early 2019 but has now agreed to return to the portal after being wowed by its customer service and efforts to drive more high quality leads to agents

  • The win follows news that Zoopla has grown its customer base by 2% year on year, following an overwhelming response to the company’s £30 million free portal usage plans offered during lockdown

Zoopla, the UK’s most comprehensive property destination, has welcomed the return of Charters, one of the South East’s leading agents, to the portal. Charters’ return to Zoopla follows the portal’s continued drive to improve the number and quality of leads it provides to agents and along with the investments it has made in customer service during this time.

Charters rejoining Zoopla follows hot on the heels of the news that the portal has enjoyed a 2% growth in customer numbers year on year, bucking the trend seen for portals more widely. The growth in customers came following the overwhelmingly positive response to the company’s decision to offer free portal usage, worth £30 million, in the light of the lockdown.

Commenting on Charters’ return, Zoopla’s Chief Commercial Officer Andy Marshall said: “Charters is a byword in the industry for quality and excellence so we are delighted that they’ve decided that Zoopla is the partner that can take their business to the next level.

The esteem in which the agent community holds them in is reflected by their awards they receive and the feedback they get from their customers cements this reputation. I look forward to working with the excellent team there and helping them grow their business in the months and years to come.”

Simon Comber, Marketing Director of Charters, said: “We are delighted to be working with Zoopla again. Charters is committed to showcasing its properties to receptive audiences and Zoopla fits this bill.”

Charters is one of the leading agents in the South East of England with seven branches in Hampshire and Surrey. The company prides itself on delivering the very best customer service, something that is reflected in the 35 independent accolades it has to its name including three at the 2019 UK Property Awards; Real Estate Agency (5-20 Offices), Real Estate Website and Real Estate Marketing of the Year.
