23rd January 2012
…signalling good signs for the UK property market.
Leading property search website Zoopla.co.uk is reporting the highest ever level of visits to its website along with record levels of usage of its mobile apps during the first half of January, as home-moving enquiries get off to a strong start in 2012.
The number of home-movers visiting Zoopla totalled a record 3 million in the second week of January alone with over 450,000 in a single day, marking a new daily record for the property website by some margin. And Zoopla is reporting a sharp increase in the number of users of its mobile apps, now representing nearly 15% of all its traffic volumes.
Zoopla recently announced the launch of the biggest national advertising campaign to date, including TV, radio, print and hundreds of Zoopla-branded taxis, which can now been seen on the streets of London.
Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of Zoopla.co.uk said: "Our current multi-million pound marketing campaign is designed to increase our brand awareness and deliver even stronger results for our agent members. We are delighted with the strong start to the year and are hopeful that the record search and enquiry levels on our website prove an early indicator of overall market interest and increased market activity in 2012.”
