Zoopla’s software offering becomes latest accredited supplier of the New Homes Quality Board

As an accredited supplier of the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB), Zoopla for Housebuilders is now officially recognised as a suite of products that support housebuilders to comply with the New Homes Quality Code.
The NHQB is an independent not-for-profit body that champions the quality of new homes and strives for fairer outcomes for consumers.
The Code covers every aspect of a new home purchase, from the initial sales office visit to the end of their two-year warranty. Under the New Homes Quality Code, housebuilders must also have an effective after-sales service to address any issues.
Zoopla is pleased to announce that it has become the latest accredited supplier of the New Homes Quality Board.
Since its establishment in 2021, the NHQB has put in place a New Homes Ombudsman Service and developed the New Homes Quality Code - a new industry code of practice aimed at improving both the quality of new builds and the redress process for consumers.
Zoopla’s software provides a one-stop solution for housebuilders by storing all required data for the New Homes Ombudsman Service, while its AML solution offers an audit trail for every individual sale. As housebuilders are also required to regularly communicate before, during, and after the sale, Zoopla’s Sales Progression ensures buyers are notified of real-time milestones including notification of legal completion once their new home is finalised.
Zoopla’s software solution enables developers to adopt the principles required by the New Homes Quality Code and improve transparency for all stakeholders involved in the home-buying process.
To help drive consumer awareness of the NHQB, Zoopla will also be using New Homes Week (w.c. 27th of February) as an opportunity to promote its benefits and what it means for consumers.
