A 'must view' artisan conversion of just eight individually crafted apartments in this small urban development in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter. Camden Works is the latest project by Raglan Homes and aimed more at the person who thinks outside the box rather than wanting to live in one.
Each apartment is individually fitted and furnished, featuring raw concrete ceilings, industrial light fittings, exposed brickwork, Crittall windows and wood flooring together with contemporary kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. The furniture is both quirky and comfortable, being hand picked by a local interior designer who has worked on some of Birmingham most expensive apartments ever sold. The artwork by artists Pure Evil, Shepard Fairey and other leading street artists complements the witty furnishings. The area
Where's the nearest pub? Great news the excellent local/great food pub The Pig & Tail is almost opposite and the 1000 Trades (the jq's best kept secret, is just a 5 minute walk). The Button Factory is also super close - so there's a pub crawl waiting to happen! Really big and small local supermarkets are also a comfortable walk, as are two gyms and the lovely St Pauls Square with it's many eateries, Jazz club and bars close by. The Jewellery Quarter tram stop is only 5 minutes away with trams direct to Wolverhampton, Snow Hill and Grand Central.
A message from the interior designer: "i've really enjoyed working on this project and giving each apartment it's own unique identity in order to attract like minded tenants. Camden Works is a lovely small arty community at the heart of the Jewellery Quarter."
