A dedicated on-site service provided 24 hours a day for all customers living at Castle Ham Lodge.
Castle Ham Lodge is a Guinness Partnerships extra care service, designed to ensure that customers over the age of 55 live in comfort with support and assurance on hand when required. Our extra care apartments are built to a very high standard and the service that we deliver will ensure that our customers get the most from living here. We provide a service that helps customers at Castle Ham Lodge enjoy the benefits of an on-site dedicated and professional staff team providing assurance that at any point in the day or night emergency assistance is on hand if is required.
Our team are on site 24 hours a day, maintaining the security of the communal areas, liaising with visitors as well as overseeing the building out of usual working hours.
Our Extra Care Scheme Manager will assist customers with reporting repairs and liaising with contractors. During the daytime we will provide up to date advice on accessing services, directing to the best solutions and will assist with appointments, including gp’s, hospital appointments, as well as local groups and activities. Castle Ham Lodge has a digital telecare system, this service enables customers to make contact with onsite staff 24 hours a day and will also facilitate communication with other apartments as well as the main door.
The cost of the service has been set to enable us to provide a guaranteed staff presence; the cost is split 60/40 between housing benefit eligible and non-eligible tasks and the charge will be reviewed annually.

Priority given to applicants with an eligible care/support need. If a customer requires a care service then our onsite care team can discuss their care needs.
