What the owners love...about the area:
We love our area for so many reasons. It’s a beautiful and quiet street with a strong sense of community - our safe “Play Street” is brought to life by the monthly neighbourhood events from Spring to Autumn, incidentally organised by one of our many friendly neighbours!
We’re surrounded by lovely parks in every direction, all within easy walking distance. Fitness enthusiasts are spoiled for choice with several gyms such as Anytime Fitness, PureGym, and Energym. Social and recreational opportunities abound too, with golf and tennis facilities in the vicinity.
Being right next to the Elizabeth line station gives us instant access to Central London, making commuting or exploring the city incredibly convenient.
Everyday needs are easily met with a large Waitrose nearby, as well as a big Sainsbury’s just across the Broadway and a Lidl close by. And we’re just a short distance from Ealing Broadway, home to a variety of restaurants and a great shopping centre.
The area is also known for its excellent schools, including high-quality state and private options, as well as French and Japanese schools locally.
What the owners love...about the home:
We love our home for its comfort, practicality, and thoughtful features. The rooms are generously sized - especially compared to new builds - providing plenty of space for family life. It’s also thoughtfully fully child-proofed for safety.
The orientation results in our living room being filled with natural light all year round. The newly refurbished front yard adds great curb appeal, while the back garden offers both a grass area and a terrace, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The bins are also 'invisible' - one of the many benefits of the useful rear alley.
There’s ample storage throughout our home, including a well-equipped kitchen, loft, garden shed, bike shed, and generous under-stairs space. We’ve undertaken some important changes, such as the installation of brand new sash windows for better insulation, and the home is connected to full fibre internet - ideal for both work and streaming.
We we would rent this home:
This stunning home offers something far more valuable than just bricks and mortar - it delivers that elusive feeling of belonging. It’s a beautiful period house where the original charm hasn’t been stripped away but rather lovingly preserved and enhanced, with modern touches exactly where you’d want them (and crucially, not where you don’t!)
The street feels almost improbably idyllic - children play outside, neighbours chat, and there's a quiet hum of community that would make even the most hardened cynic feel a bit misty-eyed.
Need coffee, lunch, groceries, or just an excuse to leave the house? You’re surrounded - literally in all directions - by life’s small pleasures, ready to be indulged on a whim.
But perhaps the greatest intangible is this: Unlike the sterile anonymity of most rentals, this is an owner-occupied home - cared for, considered, and brimming with soul. As Rory Sutherland might say, the true value of a home isn’t just in how it looks on paper, but in how effortlessly it makes you feel when you walk through the door.
