Michaelmas Day 2014 will be an auspicious date in Symonds & Sampson’s history as it is the day their new Sherborne office was opened. Lester Williams, who lives in North Cheriton, is a Partner in the firm and will head the office. He has been working the area as a professional agricultural advisor and auctioneer for 25 years and says “ We are really pleased to be opening in Sherborne and it allows us to service and meet our many established clients in the region.”  Lester’s new assistant, Bradley Towell, from Charlton Horethorne will be studying for his RICS APC exams and is already establishing himself as an auctioneer.   James Stagg, who  helped set up the office from it's first opening date was hand-picked to join the office and has been well received in our prominent office, opposite the Abbey on the corner of Half Moon Street and Digby Road, by many people who have popped in to wish us well. Many comments have been ‘about time too!’” Karen Mitchell is an ARLA qualified lettings agent who will manage lettings in Sherborne. She was brought up in Horsington and her family have farmed in the area for many years.  Karen says, “I am always amazed at how many clients we have within the area".
