After an initial meeting at the beginning of 2013, Burnap + Abel Estate Agents was born. Set up by Jon Burnap and Damian Abel, after eight months of careful planning, organistation and all of the normal frustrations that come with setting up a new business! We were eventually able to open our doors on August 17th in the company of our close friends and families. It is now a very exciting time for us and all that have helped us along the way. Damian comes into the business with a very strong background, including eight years of experience with one of the leading local estate agents in Folkestone. with a great knowledge of the area and extensive contacts with property developers and purchasers, both locally and nationally. Jon comes into the business after experiencing estate agency from the other side of the fence. He has built up a property portfolio over the last four years, buying properties in Folkestone and Hythe to let, along with a few re-development projects along the way. Both had a joint desire to set up a new estate agency and eliminate all of the negative things we have encountered on both sides of the property market. Although we understood that it is a very competitive market, we wanted to get involved as soon as possible to offer a more personal and bespoke service. During the creation of the business, we have enlisted the help of a few other key members. Rhys Fisher has come in as an associate partner. He boasts a wealth of experience with another leading estate agent from the area and comes in excited and motivated to help drive the business forward. His invaluable knowledge and relationships with local and national developers will undoubtedly be key in the flourishion of the business .
