The Church of Bollingham St Silas is located in northwest Herefordshire approximately 18 miles northwest of Hereford and around 2.5 miles south of Kington. The village of Eardisley is approximately 2.5 miles due south. The Church occupies a rural location on the western side of the A4111 (Hereford/Kington Road) and whilst limited amenities are available in Eardisley and Kington, full facilities can be accessed in Hereford.


Bollingham Church is Grade II* Listed and constructed of local sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and there are a series of windows. There are decorative stained glass east and west windows to the structure whilst the sides of the building have plain windows. We understand the building has origins potentially from the 12th or 13th Century but that it was largely rebuilt between 1865 and 1867 along with the addition of the south porch and bellcote. The low pitched roof currently has a tarpaulin over it but we understand that underneath are sandstone slates. Internally, the building has fair-faced/plastered walls, some decorative tiled elements to the floors together with flagstones.
