Coronation Street is an attractive residential road comprising red brick Edwardian terraced houses, located just off Franklin Road and close to Elm Grove. The area is hugely popular with young families keen to take advantage of the excellent local schools and parks. Added to that is the easy access to both the city centre and Brighton Station, while an extensive range of shops and cafes can be found along nearby Lewes Road.

The property is wonderful example of a red brick home from this period and enjoys a particularly attractive approach courtesy of the delightful front garden. From first entering the property there is a feeling of charm and warmth which is enhanced by the stripped wooden floors that run through the house. To the front is the homely lounge with its bright bay window and attractive cast iron fireplace. Next to this is the dining room which is another welcoming space and a perfect place to entertain friends and family. At the back of the house is the kitchen which has been finished with a range of sleek white modern units with integrated appliances including washing machine, dish washer and oven. While french doors lead to the sunny westerly patio garden. Upstairs to the rear is the family bathroom with its contemporary white suite complemented by seaside-blue mosaic tiles. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor with the front room being particularly impressive with its large double glazed sash windows. Stairs from the landing lead to the top floor which is home to another impressively proportioned bedroom, complete with Juliet balcony and stunning roof top views across the city.

What the owner says:

"After 11 wonderful years living on one of the most famous streets in the world, it is sadly time for us to move on. This house, our home, is a bright and peaceful space. The street and neighbours are always friendly and quiet. The sun streams through the house during the day and you can watch the sunset from the great view of the loft. The open fire in the winter makes this already toasty, warm house even cosier. We have always loved our sunny front garden which so many houses in this area do not benefit from. Both front and back gardens are low maintenance by design. It is perfectly located within walking distance of beautiful parks, the town centre, great schools, the train station and of course, the beach. There are lots of regular local events taking place on 'The Patch', The Level, The Open Market, and Queens Park to name a few. You need not travel far from home to attend all manner of activities such as yoga at the Hanover Centre, swimming at St. Luke's or tennis in Queens Park. Alternatively, you can kick back and have coffee and cake at one of the many local cafes. You will never get bored living here!"
