Pimlico Cottages lies on the outskirts of nutfield in Surrey, surrounded by acres of land, once named Pimlico Hill, acquired from The Fullers Earth Union. Once old workers homes, these Georgian cottages, which formed part of the Nutfield Priory estate, have been updated over the years, yet still retain so many original features.

Full of character, this period property has a driveway for your vehicle and opens from a porch into a welcoming lounge, with exposed beams, neutral décor and plenty of scope to transform this already beautiful home into something of your own.

The lounge leads into the kitchen, which has slight country feel to it, with colourful kitchen tiles, granite work tops and wooden cupboards. Exposed through the kitchen window and doorway, the open and very light conservatory, currently used as a dining/ reception room, allows day light to stream in through the glass. There is a study just to the left hand side of the kitchen which is ideal if you work form home, or need it as a play room.

The wild and wonderful garden is accessed via the conservatory and this is a true haven for any green fingered gardener, with plenty of plants, flower beds, fruit trees and lawn to keep busy with. There is a patio area to sit out on and dine under the stars and a delightful pond. Upstairs, the spiral staircase leads to two double bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with a corner bath.

Redhill town centre and station are approximately 1.4 miles away and is undergoing a complete re-vamp. The new generation is to include more shops, restaurants and entertainment. Regular trains run to London, Brighton, Gatwick and South Nutfield for anyone needing to commute. Nutfield village holds a few local shops, including the wonderful Priory farm and if you like to keep in shape, directly opposite is Nutfield Priory Hotel and Spa.

"Full of character and period features throughout, this is a very unique home waiting for another family to take on it's charm.
Set in one of my favourite locations, I would highly recommend joining Nutfield Priory as there facilities are excellent and all you have to do is stroll across the road!"

"I moved to this area to work in a local school. I was lucky enough to teach in friendly Reigate School, which has outstanding Ofsted reports.

I found this beautiful cottage and loved it since I set eyes on the tiny photo in the paper (which I still have incidentally). Then I saw the garden, overgrown, but full of possibilities. Now it is full of a variety of plants including fruit trees prolific enough for jam making and has a hardwood greenhouse and real stone patios. I also put a Narnia lamppost, which features on my Christmas cards. I entertain 14 guests at Christmas in the sapele wooden conservatory, which spans the back of the house.

The cottage and garden now need someone willing to tend them with the same love but a little more energy than I now have."
