Longthorpe is a village 2 miles from Peterborough city centre and the East Coast main railway line with high speed links to London King’s Cross, Leeds and Edinburgh. The village is active socially with church, post office, memorial hall, bowling green and all year tennis courts. It has an excellent frequent bus service to the city centre. Peterborough combines the historic and the modern from its magnificent medieval cathedral to its shopping mall, recreational & educational facilities.


‘Foxgloves’is grade II listed and was formerly 3 stone cottages built in the early18th century. Some 40 years ago its photograph adorned the box of a famous brand of chocolates! The village post office is to be found on the left hand side and ‘Foxgloves’is situated just beyond the zebra crossing on the right hand side.
