Description

One Bedroom Ground Floor Retirement Living Apartment in a really well thought out development within about ¼ mile of the Town Centre and Bicester Village Station. 75% share of leasehold

General Notes:

In the agent’s opinion this is the best of the retirement living complexes in Bicester. It is a relatively small development with about 25 units and has been very well thought out with attention to detail, high functionality for practical living and social interaction.

The complex is managed and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by uniformed care staff. The Manager’s Office is immediately beside the main entrance which is intercom controlled.

The kitchen window is onto the communal corridor so passing care staff can keep a passive eye on residents without being intrusive yet can be on hand instantly in an emergency. (Some residents block it with a roller blind for greater privacy.)

There are pull-chord alarms and an intercom unit in the apartment with the option for wrist or neck band alarms.

The communal facilities are comprehensively thought through. There is a Lounge with a TV and sensibly a tea making station in the corner. The Laundry Room has commercial quality washing facilities similar to those found in a laundrette plus sinks, seating, ironing facilities and a garden immediately alongside. There is a Kitchen with small party catering facilities including a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, trolleys etc. The Care Assisted Bathroom is a fit-for-purpose facility with bath lift etc. There is a Meal Order Service and a Housekeeping Service available. There is also a Guest Bedroom with En-suite shower room which can be reserved for a modest fee.

There are various Communal Gardens and Resident’s & Visitor Parking Facilities.
