A wonderfully statuesque, four bedroom, semi detached sat just moments from the heart of Wanstead on one of the peaceful, sweeping avenues that have made this East London Village so sought after. The bustling High Street is less than a half mile on foot and you're surrounded by natural green spaces.
As well as three reception rooms, twin bathrooms, cellar and utility room you have a double garage and drivers can be on the North Circular in less than five minutes.
If you lived here...
You'll be luxuriating in the generous rooms sizes of the period, with around 1800 square feet of living space. From the broad entrance way, with glossy hardwood floors underfoot, through into your 210 square foot front reception, with large bay window and vintage touches, this is every inch a high quality period property.
Head further in and you come to the second sitting room; 150 square feet with more glossy hardwood underfoot. The ground floor bathroom's a smart affair in grey and white with a separate shower cubicle while the breakfast room is laid open to the skylit kitchen for a bright, breezy through space ideal for welcoming friends and family at any time of day. The ground floor is completed by a handy utility room – the perfect spot for laundry.
Head out into the garden and discover an expansive raised patio leading down onto a pristine lawn. Flanked by timber fencing and barely overlooked, it ends in your 270 square foot double garage, the broad driveway out front means you could consider converting this into a home office or studio. Together with the loft space being so far unexploited, the potential for further development is considerable, despite the already impressive scale of the place.
Upstairs, your first three bedrooms are all substantial doubles, with the master coming in at an impressive 130 square foot, complete with bay window, hardwood floors and floor to ceiling, mirrored fitted storage. Bedrooms two and three are 140 and 110 square feet respectively, with the former enjoying a large bay window and both with a pleasant garden view. Bedroom four is a generous single ideal for a child, while the second bathroom is strikingly finished in vintage designer floor tiling and an oversized rainfall shower.
Wanstead High Street is less than a half mile on foot, flanked by green spaces and home to an evolving array of independent bars, cafes and gastropubs, from the traditional delights of Robins Pie & Mash, the Parisian charms of La Bakerie to the sumptuous Sunday roasts at The Manor House and The Cuckfield. Once the favoured hunting grounds of Henry VIII, Wanstead is replete with natural space and the green expanse of Wanstead Flats is particularly handy, just a short walk to the south and home to Wanstead bowls, tennis, cricket and golf clubs.
- Local schools are chiefly excellent, you have seven primary/secondaries in a one mile radius, three rated 'Good' and four deemed 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
- Wanstead tube station is less than ten minutes walk and will get you directly to Liverpool Street in sixteen minutes, or Tottenham Court Road in twenty five, putting The City and The West End within easy reach.
- Whatever your fitness goals, Wanstead Leisure Centre is less than five minutes walk and offers a pool, racquet courts, gym, spa and fitness studio.

A word from the owner....
"Making the decision to move away from what has been a beautifully spacious, warm, comfortable and safe family home in a wonderful and ever improving area after 24 years has been difficult but we hope that this house can bring the same joy to another family as it has to ours. Wanstead as an area provides an ideal and difficult to find balance for living in London. Travelling both by road and public transport is a dream, you can get to Oxford Street in 30 minutes on the tube or drive into France in under 3 hours though you may not need to travel much as there's so much on your doorstep. Wanstead High Street is vibrant, unique and has great variety and there is so much green space, both open and wooded for long walks. If you're an active person there is a Cricket, Golf and Tennis club at the bottom of the road and a gym less than 5 minutes walk."
