Rye has many seasonal attractions including its annual bonfire parade and summer jazz festival. Rye railway station has regular services to London via Ashford international. The high speed service at Ashford makes the journey to London just over an hour. Eurostar also offers services to the continent. The picturesque town of Tenterden is approximately 9 miles away and has a Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets and Homeward Secondary and sixth form school. The coast is in easy reach with Camber only 4 miles with sandy beaches and the famous Rye Golf Club nearby.
